And Dax's future Klingon mother-in-law, who wants to kill the bride-to-be, disdainfully informs her, "You'll be an object of pity, never truly one of us." But the course of true love is not easily swayed. "There's nothing more romantic than a wedding on DS9 in the springtime," says Bashir. "When the neutrinos are in bloom," adds O'Brien.

Quark and Rom steal one from a Klingon vessel, then accompany Ezri back to the Alternate Universe to retrieve Zek.
